Foundation Choir - International School of Geneva

Profile

Established in 1992, the Foundation Choir is made up of staff, parents, former pupils and friends of the Foundation who all enjoy singing choral music.  It has tackled major choral challenges such as Verdi’s Requiem and Dvorak’s Stabat Mater (with the Orchestre Symphonique de Genève), Masses by Schubert and Rheinberger, Mozart’s Vespers, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Elgar’s Scenes from the Saga of King Olaf, The Canterbury Pilgrims by George Dyson, A German Requiem by Brahms and most recently Dvorak’s Mass in D major and Parry’s Songs of Farewell.  The choir has participated frequently in Geneva’s Fête de la Musique.
