Ewa Rzetecka-Niewiadomska

Ewa Rzetecka began her musical career at a very young age, excelling at the piano.  In 2003, still a young adolescent, she completed her studies on the harpsichord at the Lodz Academy of Music  (Leszek Kedracki) with commendations from the jury.

To continue her formation as a musician, she then studied organ at the Music Conservatory in Geneva with Alfonzo Fedi, Marcello Giannini, Vincent Thévenaz and with Liuwe Tamminga in Bologna, Italy. In 2014 she received the degree “Master et Maestro al Cembalo” at the Geneva Conservatory of Music with Leonardo Garcia Alarcon.

Ewa has given numerous concerts, as a soloist, as ensemble player and as a continuo player (harpsichord and piano) with Chamber Ensembles and orchestras in Poland and other European countries. She frequently performs with her husband, Hubert Niewiadomska, under their professional name,  “Duo Polonais”.

In 2009, she recorded a CD with the Polish flutist, Joanna Woszczyk-Garbacz and another in 2011, (Music for Harpsichord) with the actor, Andrzej Zarnecki.

Ewa Rzetecka was awarded her Doctorate from the Lodz Academy of Music and is now an Assistant Professor there.  Since 2010, she has participated in the “International Forum for Flute and Piano” in Luxembourg as a Piano expert.
