Hubert Niewiadomski

Profile

Hubert Niewiadomski was born in Poland and began his vocal studies with K. Zachwatowicz-Jasienska in Warsaw and with Gilles Cachemaille at the Geneva Conservatory. He also has a Diploma in Computer Technology from the Polytechnical School in Warsaw and a Doctorate in Particle Physics from Manchester University in England. Currently he works at CERN on the TOTEM experiment. He is the titular organist at the Polish Catholic Mission in Switzerland.

Hubert Niewiadomski has performed on the stage in operas, oratorios, chamber music, and has given solo recitals. He has a wide vocal repertoire that includes songs from varied languages: Polish, German, Russian and French. He has given concerts with several Geneva and Polish orchestras, including; the Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Geneva Conservatory of Music Orchestra. He regularly performs in Music Festivals featuring Organ and Voice. He has recorded Madrigals by such composers as, Dowland, Monteverdi and Moulinié (Resonnance Disc 2010).

Recently, Herbert Niewiadomski has participated in concerts featuring Cantatas by Bach and Telemann and had the title role in the opera, Venus and Adonis by John Blow.
