Saya Hashino
Profile
Saya Hashino received her Bachelor of Music from The University of Fine Arts and Music in Tokyo. Upon graduating she became the Piano Department’s Accompanist and Assistant until 2002. She continued her studies in Switzerland where she obtained a Masters Degree as Concert Pianist from the Geneva Conservatory. She pursued her organ studies, as well, in Geneva and was awarded a Masters Degree in Organ. She won the Pierre Second Special Prize for Organ in both 2007 and 2009.
Miss Hashino has also participated in numerous International piano and organ contests, in various countries, such as, Japan, Italy, Marroc, France and Germany, often winning recognition for her brilliant playing.
Saya Hashino has performed as soloist, (piano, organ or harpsichord)with various orchestras, such as; The Suisse Romande Orchestra, The Geneva Chamber Orchestra and the Geneva Contrechamps Ensemble.
At present she is the official accompanist at the Geneva Conservatory, pianist for the Lémanic Modern Ensemble , the Amadeus Piano Quartet (Robert Zimansky, Verena Schweizer, Stéphan Rieckhoff) and the Duo Saxo (Vincent Barras).
Saya Hashino is one of the founding members and a professor for the Soloist Academy in Crozet France (2016), along with Dimitry Rasul-Kareyev and Michel Westphal.
